- Combine your sifted flour with the remaining 2 tbsp of sugar then the 1 tsp of salt, mix together.
- Add 2 cups of flour to the yeast/milk mixture, mix well (at this point you'll have a very sticky dough)
- Turn the sticky dough mixture into the bowl containing 2 cups of flour and mix till it forms a less sticky dough (you can add the butter now)
- Knead until smooth on a lightly floured surface.
- Transfer to a lightly oiled bowl, cover and allow it to rise for about an hour or until doubled in size.
- After an hour, on a floured surface, divide the dough into two then cut out 15 pieces all together from the 2 doughs.
- Mold into a ball shape, lightly pinching the edges together.
- Arrange on a baking tray or pan lined with parchment paper, cover with a plastic wrap or clean kitchen towel and allow to rise again.
- Egg wash and bake in a preheated oven for 25 mins or until they are golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter once out of oven.
