Today I'm sharing my recipe for Idli Dhoklas, the easiest way to make instant dhoklas. I love to make and eat dhokla so I always try to find easy. Instant besan dhokla is prepared with gram flour and yogurt batter using Eno fruit salt. Steamed for few minutes and soft and spongy besan dhokla is ready to serve Instant besan dhokla will absorb this syrup.

Instructions to make Instant besan idli dhokla:
  1. Take 2 cup besan. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Add turmeric powder, salt, grated ginger-green chilli, sugar, oil, rava and yogurt
  2. Mix yoghurt and make a dhokla batter. Add water. Rest for 10 minutes. Now add 1 tsp eno.
  3. Add 2 cups of water in an idli maker. Grease the idli moulds with oil.
  4. Place 2 tbsp batter in each hole of greased moulds. Cover and steam for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Heat 2tbsp oil in tadka pan. Add mustard seeds, hing and allow to splutter. Add curry leaves and sesame seeds. Then add sugar, water, salt and lemon juice. Mix well.
  6. Switch off the flame. Pour this tadka to each idli dhokla. - - Serve and relish hot and tangy besan idli dhokla with chutney.
