Instructions to make Nduma / arrowroot crisps:
- First peel your arrow roots.
- Wash your arrow roots well with running water.
- Start slicing them in tiny slices (this will take time but exercise patience)
- In a basin,add some water then salt then add the sliced arrow roots, let it rest for 30-40 mins, so that they absorb the salt.
- After that, remove them from the water and dry them on a kitchen towel
- Heat up your oil, until it is hot, then start deep frying until crunchy
