- Get 2 1/2 cup Idli/dosa batter(you can use leftover batter also)

- Take 1 tbsp Rice flour
- Prepare 1 big finely chopped Onion

- Prepare 2-3 green chilli finely chopped
- Make ready 1 tsp Asafoetida powder/ hing

- Make ready 3 tbsp Curry leaves chopped
- Prepare as needed Oil for frying
Instructions to make Beetroot Punugulu:
- Take a bowl and Mix all the ingredient together(except oil) in a semi thick batter
- Heat oil in an another pan and drop the batter in a lemon sized shape. Fry the batter in a low flame
- Turn it when one side become brown in colour…wait for some minutes. Take it out from the oil when it's done.
- Serve punugulu with coconut chutney!
