Drop the pakoda batter in the hot oil one spoonful at a time. Fry the pakoda in batches in the vegetable oil on low to medium fire until they are golden brown. Sooji ke Pakode is very popular Indian starter / snack. Sooji ke Pakode can be quick option for iftar during ramadan.

  1. In a mixing bowl take rava/sooji, salt, rice flour, green chilli chopped, curry leaves chopped, onion chopped,ginger chopped, coriander leaves chopped,and all the other masala ingredients together mix well.
  2. Now add 2tbsp hot oil in to the rava mixture, mix well or you can use baking soda 1/2 tsp.
  3. Add curd, & little by little water to prepare dough,(medium soft) let it rest for 5 minutes,mixture should not be too thick or too watery, adjust the consistency accordingly, deep fry them in hot oil on a medium flame.
  4. Your yummy, super crispy rava pakodas are ready to serve.
