- First of all soak fenugreek seeds in water for at least 4 to 5 hours.
- After 4 - 5 hours strain all water, wash with fresh water, again strain it in strainer. Wash green chillies and cut all in 1/2 inch in round..
- Now turn on gas on low flame, put a kadai, add oil, when oil heat, add mustard seeds and hing.
- Add green chillies, whole dhaniya, saunf saute for 1 minute. Now add soaked fenugreek in it.
- Cover the lid and cook for 2 minutes on a low flame. Then open it, check fenugreek seeds is cooked properly, then add haldi, salt, kashmiri red chilli powder, mix well.
- Turn off gas, add lemon juice for tangy taste, as well, it works as a natural preservative.
- Ready to eat Methi Mirchi Aachar, very tasty, spicy, tangy in taste. You can enjoy with roti, paratha, puri, rice as per your taste.
- Tip – Due to more oil, lemon juice added, and no water in it, this can be store at least 1 week without fridge.. But…. but.. I am sure it will consume by you in couple of days..
