The ingredients needed to make Beetroot Idli:
  1. Prepare 2 cup Idli Batter
  2. Make ready 1 Beetroot boiled cut into pieces
  3. Prepare 1-2 Chopped green chilli
  4. Take As needed Chopped Coriander
Instructions to make Beetroot Idli:
  1. In a mixie or blender add beetroot pieces and make a fine paste of it by adding little water. Add the grounded paste in the Idli batter.
  2. Mix well along with chopped chilli & coriander in the batter. Grease idli plates and pour mixed batter in the idli plates. Steam the idli for 10 mins or until get done
  3. Remove the idli from the plate and serve hot with chutney or sambar.
  4. Beetroot can be grated or grounded it's upto you.
